The Journey Continues. In New Ways.
While SOLE Effects is concluding its current season, the heart behind the mission continues forward. After AVID acquired the SOLEFXJourney for use in K–12 Schools, our team chose to make the program available for youth in all other settings. Anyone working with youth in community organizations, parents, or even students can implement the program themselves. Run it in a more structured setting with small groups or around a kitchen table.
This site is the new home of the SOLEFXJourney. Everything is open. No charge. No strings attached. The mission outlasts the org.
Our program is now available at no charge to any youth organizations, religious organizations, individuals, and higher education institutions. However, use by K–12 public and private schools is prohibited except through AVID at school sites: https://www.avid.org/
I will use The SOLEFXJourney program with integrity and fidelity, in alignment with its intended design and purpose. I further attest that I will not use any portion of this program in any K–12 public or private school setting.

SOLE is an acronym — but it’s also the point. Leadership isn’t dramatic. It’s daily. It’s the quiet courage to be honest when it would be easier to fit in. To take one healthier habit this week. To ask one real question instead of making one more assumption.
That's what we teach. That's what the Journey is for.
